Very very pale, and a very very traditional Sauvignon Blanc. A surprisingly rich nose gives plenty of classic Sauvignon notes—nettle, snow pea, gooseberry and some herbaceous grassiness. A sip is rewarded with some nice dry grip and plenty of zest, with crisp green apple and some richer pineapple coming later. Light, dry, with pleasantly lingering acid, this is a real thirst quencher that’ll match nicely with something creamy—burrata and fresh tomato, maybe.
