We do a lot of work in the winery (and when picking) to ensure our Praxis wines will drink well when young. For this vintage—which boasted some of the best fruit flavour we’ve seen—that meant staggering our picking times for different acid and flavour profiles, before a mostly stainless steel ferment to retain freshness and vibrancy. The wine is balanced and fruit-driven, showing stonefruit and some nice greener herbal elements on the palate after a nose that’s loaded with tropical fruit and citrus. Zippy acidity and great mouthfeel make for a real crowd-pleaser.
