Deep golden colour; a very appealing buttered-toast/buttery croissant bouquet, mellow, mature and inviting. The wine is still intense, high-acid and highly tensioned on palate; very dry, but has built richness with time, and the finish is long and vibrant, appetising and refreshing. This wine has aged superbly. 95 points

The 2011 vintage was very cool across most of Australia, enabling whites with tension. This is a fine example. This has aged very well, released as museum stock. Pointed aromas of spiced quince, flint and hazelnuts. The palate is mid-weighted of feel. Juicy, expansive and long, there isn't a foot out of place. Delicious wine that the estate should be proud of. Drink now. Screw cap. 95 points
