A very approachable, intriguing Pinot Gris—clear, pale and bright in the glass, the nose leads with white peaches and nectarines, bundled up with honeysuckles, jasmine and a bit of lifted citrus. The fruit continues on the palate, which is dry and long, driven by medium acid, more stonefruit and a bit of sweeter apple. Structure is good, with some nicely integrated phenolics and minerality. A fantastic food wine.
