Muse Extra Brut 2014 Magnum

A toasting wine if ever there was one. The nose brings plenty of oak influence, which recedes and integrates nicely on the palate. A lively bead in the glass carries into the mouth, retaining a ticklish fizz of crisp apple, white nectarine (softer, gentler and more refined than typical stone fruit notes), light almond, and a nice floral lily-hyacinth bouquet into the impressively long finish. Tuck some away for an occasion worth a speech and a toast.
