Clear, pale-lemon to look at, there’s an almost-silvery hue to this fresh, approachable delight of a wine. The nose blooms with garden-party notes: nashi pear, apple and elderflower blossoms, sweet nasturtiums and jasmine. On the palate there’s generous fruit (cucumber, more nashi, celery, crisp melon pith) balanced with great acid and good weight. Balanced and complex, this one’s a winner.
