Much more of a dry, aperitif-style wine than the sticky that might spring to mind given the grape, this vintage boasts a nose to die for: a wild, juicy romp of tropical fruit, rosewater, vanilla and lilies. The palate is dry, full and grippy, with some lovely rich dried citrus (blood orange) balanced against fresher, cucumber-and-melon-pith notes. Pair with some fine cheese for a divine cocktail-hour starter.
