Domaine A Lady A 2017
Expect elegance and texture (whereas most sauvignon blancs lead with fruit and acid), aged for three years before release (most Sauvignon Blancs are released young). As with past vintages, the 2017 Lady A takes her cues from Bordeaux. Fermented in French oak barriques, matured on fine lees for twelve months, and then rested in the cellar until ready for release. It’s well worth the wait.
Domaine A Campaniac
The nose is complex and lightly spiced, with hints of orange peel, dried apricot and toasted almonds. A swirl in the glass reveals a light, silken texture that spreads delightfully across the palate: marmalade, butterscotch, vanilla and a honeyed sweetness that lifts to a gentle warmth on the finish.
Domaine A Cabernet Sauvignon 2010
The 2010 vintage is the best of both worlds—youthful yet old school in style. Currants and candied raspberry on the nose. Fruit cake, eucalypt, and vanilla oak notes develop into cherry cola on the palate, before a liquorice and dark chocolate finish.
